Giving

He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

- 2 Corinthians 9:6

Why we give?

God is generous and so he calls us to be as well.  What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are at and helps proclaim the gospel. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances.

Ways To Give

Give Online

Give one-time or recurring donations through our website or mobile app.  Online giving adds flexibility to your tithes and offerings by allowing them from any location with connectivity.  This is a great option while on vacation or working away from home.

Give In-Person

Traditional in-person giving will always be welcome at Elmwood Baptist because it is done face to face.  As a church family, it is always exciting to spend quality time together worshiping the Lord.

Mail A Check

For those that wish to remotely give but prefer traditional checks, please make your checks out to Elmwood Baptist Church and use the memo section to label where to route your giving.

Checks can be mailed to:

Malachi 3:10 - Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

What is the biblical definition of tithe and offering?
  • “Tithe” literally means "tenth" or 10 percent. A tithe is the first 10% of your income.
(Genesis 28:20)
  • "Freewill Offerings" are gifts given outside or in addition to a tithe (10%).
(Amos 4:4-5)
